This two-level Victorian-era (early 1900s) house, is located in the Westminster area within walking distance of Portobello Road, and bordering Grand Union Canal and Meanwhile Gardens.

From a design perspective, the aim was to create a brighter space by connecting the living room and kitchen into a single space and moving the washroom to the side.

The lower level room was completely rehabilitated, as it was exposed to water infiltration from the canal.

The external space directly adjacent to the water flow was redesigned, with new paving and lights incorporated into the vegetation.

As in other works, it was intended to recuperate some of the existing materials.
For the the exterior walls (both street front and water side), the characteristic yellow bricks of the area were recovered during the demolitions; those materials were then reused by local craftsmen, skilled in the brick technique and style of the Epoque.
